Curriculum & Instruction for Gifted Learners

This is a 4 part course sequence with a focus on curriculum development,  assessing commercially available gifted curriculum, and modifying grade level curriculum for gifted learners. One session is focused on differentiated instructional strategies for meeting the needs of advanced learners.

Practical Application 

This course is designed to enhance educators' understanding of curriculum and instruction for gifted learners.  Educators can apply these understandings to develop the pedagogical skills necessary to design and implement effective instructional strategies in the classroom.

The last session includes options for continued learning. Participants may want to engage in learning in this topic with colleagues, stakeholders or individually.
